Nelson’s gone wireless - with the SoloRain™ family of wireless control equipment. With the SoloRain family, Nelson provides battery-powered irrigation products delivering precise, reliable control without conventional wiring.

In addition, SoloRain actuators are completely waterproof for total confidence and dependability. Nelson’s newest addition, the 8014 DuraLife™ Valve Actuator, offers years of service via the factory installed long-life lithium battery.

Ideal applications include hard-to-reach areas and spots where it is not practical or economical to install a hard-wired controller. It is also suited to the retrofit of manual systems or the repair of existing wired systems.

FEATURES

SoloRain® 8010 Series:

Fits all Nelson® and Signature® turf valves

Compatible with most valves via adapters

Single program stand-alone unit includes three dials for easy programming

Waterproof design in both the programmable actuator and the battery compartment - IP68 tested

Solenoid and battery compartment are compact and made of durable nylon with protective cover included

Operates on a single 9 volt Energizer® alkaline battery for one year depending on usage (not included)
